To log into Blackboard 9.1 go to https://learn.humber.ca

Enter the user name and password that was provided by ITS service desk.

If you are logging in for the first time, you will be given a temporary password from the ITS Service desk. After you log in, you will be ask to change your password.

Students will have access to their course 3 days before the course start date and two weeks after the last day of the course.

When to Contact Information Technology Services (IT)?

  • To retrieve your user name and password for Blackboard Learn 9.1
  • If you are having difficulty installing software or any other technical issues.

When to Contact the Open Learning Centre

  • If you need help with logging in to your online courses (not including password issues).
  • If you need help finding your way around in Blackboard Learn 9.1
  • If you are registered for an Ontario Learn course and need help with login.
  • For all other non-academic questions.

A profile is a reflection of how you want to present yourself to your peers, classmates, instructors, and employers.
In your Blackboard profile, you decide what you want to be called, what your academic interests are, and anything else you want to share.

    1. Log in to Blackboard and click on your name at the top right corner.
    2. From the drop-down menu, click on the face icon to edit your Blackboard profile.
    3. Select Settings at the bottom of the panel.
    4. Select Personal Information > Personalize My Settings.
    5. On the Personalize My Settings page, select Use custom avatar image and browse your computer for your picture.
    6. Select Submit. Your profile picture appears in the page header next to your name.
