This course is designed to provide the student with an overview of common current clinical diagnostic tests. Students will review the anatomy and physiology basic to families of tests, and consider those elements, which could bias the results. An awareness of quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing will be developed through an overview of statistical methods used to verify reported values and predictive values.
